Augustus stuck during busco run

Hello, I'm currently assembling several de novo large plant genomes (1.8Gbp-2.4) and have been using BUSCO frequently as a proxy for determining if polishing steps are improving sequence quality. One of the programs I'm using for error-correction is racon, which corrects genomes based on consensus of long reads. While running busco, two different genomes have gotten stuck during augustus' initial gene prediction step (ie 10721 of 15315 tasks completed). The job will end up timing out and I have no clue why it's happening. I'm curious if anyone has insights or has also experienced this problem.
