Hello
Your website implies training files for a number of organisms (including maize)is available precluding the need to train these yourself. I am however unable to locate the location of these files for download. Can you help?
Thanks

Hi Mark,
the AUGUSTUS parameter sets for a number of species are indeed available for download. You find them at http://bioinf.uni-greifswald.de/augustus/binaries/ within the AUGUSTUS distribution (config/species/ folder).
The gene sets that were used to optimize those parameter sets are usually not publicly available for download. I think that the maize parameters were optimized quite some time ago, before we moved to our new university. I assume that we did not keep the training gene structures. (Mario will correct this statment if I'm wrong.)
